Blog Action Day.... (Hope you guy's are in?) ...

Well...Seeing as this year's topic is 'Poverty' ...Iv'e decided to explore what 'Poverty' actually is!

I mean...Yeh..I can write about it,research it,even google it..but..Do I really understand it??

So... Iv'e decided to go 'Hand's on'.. And glimpse what it's like to be homeless through poverty.

Im going to spend a day at a 'Night stop' and 'Day Centre',for homeless people...It's based in my area and is called G.E.A.R...It's the only 'Drop in' night stop in the area...And they are allowing me to spend some time there...etc..

I aim to talk to the homeless, Find out how they got where they are today...But,I won't patronise or pity them, they are just like me and you,But...I want to try to understand things!

Also...I want to see the kind of work that these volunteer's do for their community...And the differnce they make to a homeless person.

It will certainly be a 'Eye Opener' for me!

I intend to do a post on what happen's..And what I discover... as my 'Poverty Post' for blog action day...

Maybe....I can make a difference??

Well....So I'm told...Most day's in fact!!

You see... I have been getting some PM's lately...Mainly from the same member.

He reckon's that I need sex everyday....that it's good for losing weight,and he can help me!..All I gotta do is ask!! ...He will be happy to assist me in 'Sexercise' ...I think that's what he called it!

How nice of him to be concerned...Dont'cha think!!

But...On a serious note,I think It's down right rude to message someone that..Im not that desperate ya know!!

Where was I when god was handing them out!!

Well...I have always said if i had the money...I would have 'Boob Job'...not that I'd ever have the money!

But...I found this website..Well,not found it as such, I read about it.

It's called.. 'My Free Implants'..And basically ,they pay you to have the implants.

Here's how it works...Men buy 'Chat Credit's' and email you,If you choose to reply,you get a 'Donation' of $1 ... and it carries on like that untill you have the amount needed for the surgery..Then they pay the bill..and you walk out with a 'Good Set' ..for free!!

Now..i was brought up to believe that nothing is 'Free'..so whats the catch??

Could it be that you get perverse emails from god know's who..Asking you to do..Who know's what?? ...Seem's a bit creepy to me!...and not to mention the dodgy 'back street surgeon' that performs the op??

And..how many young women out there are that desperate,that they would do it??

So...I'll wait untill I can pay for it

Oh yeh...This is just my opinion of how I percieve this site...It could be kosher !!

Charity night update!!

Well...As some of you know,myself,family and friend's arranged a 'family fun Day' to raise money for 5 children who lost a parent in a car collision in march (My brothers children and a friends daughter ,who both lost thier lives)
And also for a charity called winstons wish.

The day was a huge success.... So many of our friends and family came to show thier support...and spend thier money ...the sun even put in a appearence....

We kicked off at 4pm,putting up the marquee and bouncy castle...which took ages to inflate I might add ...setting up the BBQ etc!!... sun was shining,kids were giggling...i was getting pissed!!....Whilst running around like a blue assed fly selling raffle tickets etc!...And the band were amazing...I boogied for what felt like hours...and had blisters on every toe by the time i got home

The auction was fantastic...even if I did worry a few fight's may break out as the bidding was rather fierce!! We made over £500 on the auction alone!

I finally made it home at 2am...tired but happy...Best night I have had in a long time!!

And the best bit....We raised ...(Drum roll please)...
**£2,500**

Not bad for a night's work eh !!

ps...If ya wondering...I wore 'That Dress' ..and felt fantastic
