This weekend has been so crap...Someone must really have it in for me

In the last 6 hour's..I have done the following...Attempted to start my Christmas shopping..Been whacked in the shin by a OAP weilding a walking stick...Attempted to find suitable attire for the Inquest..(What does one wear anyway??)

Been poked,prodded and pushed by angry shopper's ...All attempting to grab the last 'Chocolate' orange...Queued in 'Matalan' for 30 min's to buy a jumper I dont really need..Cos it was 20% off!

And then...The icing on the cake...My Fooking car would'nt start!

..Automated voice..'Hello..You are through to 'More Than' rescue and recovery..Which service do you require..Press 1 to renew your policy,2 for sales,3 for amendments...You get the drift...or press 20 to speak to a human!! 45 minutes spent on hold... With a promise to be there in 60 minutes.

2 hour's spent shivering in sub zero temperatures...Waiting to be rescued...Whilst the asshole from the carpark kept informing me..''We close at 6''

He did eventually turn up...And my god,he was hot (Silver lining moment )

20mins spent watching ~~his pert bum~~ him tinkering with it..To no avail! Oh well...At least I save on fuel for the return journey!

Anyway...That' 6 month's...3 Car's...

What can I say? Poor you...

On the other hand... I'm thinking of changing my car... wanna buy a really reliable runner? Low mileage... economic... fast (when you need it)... well it is 150BHP... FSH and all that....

Tomorrow is another day and things are bound to be better.

        Nope....Which is just my luck ! I thought we had sorted it,It's a problem with fuses blowing...Somewhere in the wiper system.
        
        Which is fine if it is'nt raining .. Maybe a wire is shorting...But where ...Grrr..
        
        All I know is that I have a car that I dont trust... Wipers could stop working any time..It might be fine for 20 mins..Or 2 ... Why Meeeee ..

        I had a problem just like that... turned out to be a very simple thing, 'though it had me guessing for days!
        
        All cars are different of course, but can I suggest you have a look and see what else is on the same circuit as the wipers? Catch a look in a Haynes manual or similar.
        
        On my old Citroen the circuit was shared with the pump for the rear screen washer... the pump itself was breaking down and shorting intermittently... a replacement pump cost me something around £15 and half an hour to fit... I can't put a price on the amount of time and bother the damn thing cost though!

        Hey hun! Well..I think that I have sorted it.
        
        I discovered that it blew a fuse when I flicked the rear one on....But was fine up untill I did that. I disconnected the rear wiper..And it has'nt blown again...Yet.
        
        Im still a bit nervy about it as im convinced it's still going to do it!! But I feel well proud of meself for sorting it

        I had to give evidence in a court case (affray) one time. It was awful. I was a total bag of nerves and I still cringe at the stupid things I said. I came across like a complete brainless bimbo. Awful.

        I really felt for the people giving evidence yesterday as the coroner's court was packed.There were 15 of us!! And god know's how many reporter's!
