              yes, i think being speechless has something to do with the fact that my eyes are so busy looking and my mind so busy imaginning that i don't have enough power left to operate my mouth to talk!

                                  i've been to one blogmeet and i loved it but that was mainly because it was a small gathering and we just sat, drank and chatted quite naturally, it's when there's loads of people all clamouring for attention that i tend to sit quietly in the corner and just people-watch.
                                  meeting anyone from here, i tend to think that they'd only feel disappointment in meeting the real me x

  I know my brother has bookmarked "The Ferret", he may have bookmarked "NotBob's Bits" too, but I burned that one just in case. I had posted a few choice words about him, and I couldn't remember if they were "friends only" posts or not...

    2 of my friends have subscribed to my blog...But it's nothing I would'nt tell them anyway! I do sometimes censor myself though as Im never certain if family read or not..
    
    Ive gone back through blogs for the very reason you talk about after finding out certain people read it!
    
    Iv'e no worries who read's as such..But at times I'd rather they said than look at me funny after Id admitted a good spanking x

  I dont think it would bother me if people knew about my blog. I dont keep it a secret I dont think people would recognise me from my posts though but if they knew me then they would probably star in my blog in one way or another

      I dont tell my family anything but my immediate family like Jen know about it and jens sister too she just thinks I am weird anyway hehe like you said most things you say on here you dont mind people knowing anyway but those things you want to keep private are always sent out as a private message or private post just like in real life I guess

  Some of my friends from where we used to live follow mine quite closely and i don't mind at all and a couple of the mums from daughters school here read it, but we go for a coffee on a friday so they know most of it anyway and they don't really bring it up. I don't really mind who reads it to be honest although I do notice my language is pretty bad most of the time so I probably wouldn't want the blonde's teachers to be reading it.
  My life is what it is and i put it out there for public consumption. the only thing i do sometimes panic about a bit is that I use this instead of 'real life' friendship when i should be out meeting proper people.

          My hubby knows me well too and wouldn't be bothered but some people think i have said stuff that might offend him - I cannot see how to be honest, but you never know i suppose, and if he doesn't ask me what i do all day i am not gonna tell him am I?
          i do get tempted to go way over the top sometimes just to see if i can spot people that are reading it but that haven't told me!! Oh and an ex from a very long time ago subscribes to it as well!

  Loads of friends and ex colleagues (and I suspect current colleages) read mine. Difference is, none of them have told me they've found it. I know because I've seen it on their PC, or tracked their IP (internet address). I feel spied on but I'm stubborn and refuse to mention it.

  Fawk me. My SIL's read my blog but they are lovely and enjoy me (Mr's sisters) My maternal side of the family (mother included) are tits and have caused me nothing but grief. They like to hunt me down and stalk me on blog. They are nasty people.
  
  I had reconciled with my mother for about 5 minutes about 2 years ago and she started reading my blog and that's when the shit hit the fan. Had to deep six two blogs because she won't frickity leave me alone. Tits.

    If I had people reading that I did'nt want Id have to not do it I think cos Id hate to try and be someone else.. If that make sense.. I would'nt wanna move to a different site.. And would worry they'd find me even if I changed names etc by what I wrote.. I dunno!!
    
    Going back a while.. I had a few nasty comments.. Took me a while to figure out that it was someone I knew.. Matched IP adresses together.. Theres some nasty people in the world!!
    
    I dont think though that real life people have the nerve to say anything bad about my blog anyway cos half of em dont admit they read it.. Not to me anyway

  No-one knows about the blog apart from the fella and a couple of friends but only the fella knows what it is called. I don't mind if he reads it - he says he doesn't but there is nothing on here that he doesn't already know anyway.
  
  I wouldn't really be comfortable for anyone I know reading it to be honest. There would only be questions, questions, questions, and while I'm not writing about my huge porn collection or my 'dogging' hobby I would rather my blog was kept just to me (and all you other bloggers of course). It's also my wee thing that I like to do and I don't think non-bloggers would understand it.

      I just don't think non-bloggers get what we do, so I tend not to publicise it. Mainly because when I mentioned it to my friend that I had one and told her what it involved ie you can make lovely friends and comment on their blogs. She then said that she was going to join and 'be nasty to people' - that's not what blog's all about is it?? I also don't know why you'd want to do that. And she's a really great girl as well!!!
      
      Needless to say I quickly changed the subject and dodged all her 'what blog site do you use' questions.

  Don't really care if anyone reads my blogs as I don't write anything personal very often - mostly because I just find it hard to write personal stuff anyway, not because I don't want anyone to know. I know hubby reads my blog sometimes, but I haven't got any secrets from him anyway, so he's not going to read anything I don't want him to know, and anything I don't feel like sharing with the world at large I just post as a friends only post. That doesn't happen very often anyway. I don't think I'd ever feel comfortable posting a picture of myself though - I wouldn't want to be recognised by someone down the local supermarket or something - I'm too shy for that!

    Hey babes..No apologies needed here hunny.. It was your blog that gave me the idea for this post..
    
    Like you...I do wonder who's watching from the sidelines..And it appears to be more than I thought..Which scared the shit outta me!! I actually read a freinds status update on facebook the other day and she had mentioned my blog to someone...I was mortified as half my family are on that thing!!

      I just worry - like i said - that certain people could use it as ammunition - and i can`t make every bloody post i do private - peeps would be thinking i`m an attention seeker!
      
      Your friend should have thought more really before doing that on facebook or at least asked you - but she probably thinks your blog is ace and wanted to publicise it for you and didn`t think.... makes you wonder how celebs go on being in the limelight doesn`t it?
      
      Hey but who knows? This year the shrink couch? Next year we could be on the casting couch!!

        I can see your worry hun.. But like I said.. Nothing you've said here makes you look bad anyway.. And 'that' person would have to look bloody hard to find your blog! Remember... Clear you history at all times!!!
        
        Private posts are there for a purpose hun.. Use them.. Don't think people will think ya a drama queen.. I have to at times now I know real people stalk me here
        
        I so could'nt cope with being a celeb... Imagine popping to tescos in ya slippers.. No slap on after a rough night.. And being papped!! Casting couch.. You can definatly go first.. And second ..

          Thats the thing Milly - i`m hopeless with this p.c stuff - i try and clear my history - but then the other day i found that pages were being saved in the navigation toolbar thing - then there`s recent documents - i`ve found photo`s in there!
          
          I`m bloody hopeless!!!
          
          "Being papped" I love that phrase - and i think i`ll give the casting couch a miss too - knowing my luck i`d end up with Louie Walsh or summat!!!

            I use my parents PC and my EXs sometimes so I have to check.. And double check Iv'e deleted everything!! You never know whats left lurking I s'pose though!

  Well scary but it was watching Nick blog when we worked together that actually got me into blogland (so blame him). I dont blog at home because it causes needless problems and honestly its not worth arguing that "no you cant read that post its private !! you dont know them why should i let you read there private posts". doesnt help that OH gets very jealous if i speak to any females

    Thats the thing is'nt it.. We just don't know who is reading our blogs! Unless of course they tell! Although we are only as easy to find as we make ourselves.. Im pretty easy. Real photo makes me easily identified.. And I know that my mates read mine. Not sure who else though!!
    
    There are people I would'nt want to come across it but I would'nt burn it.. I don't think..
    
    How do you stop your blog being found.. Do you talk if it to no one.. Clear you history etc?

  my hubby knows i blog, how would i explain my days on the net otherwise? he reads odd bits over my shoulder and sometimes i write stuff and then get him to read it so he knows what I'm thinking.
  
  i've got my anonymity though, only a few blogfriends know my name, and even if I'm chatting bout people i don't like i don't use their names. If I'm specially bitchy or personal it'd be private. If a couple people read some of my posts knowing who i was then the jibes'd be immediately obvious, but as they don't know...
